Hole 1 Par 4

The opening hole at the Semlin Valley golf course is a short but tricky par 4, presenting a near 900 dogleg from right to left and a blind tee shot.  From the tee box you will see in the far hills an orange and white radio tower.  Using this as your target, try to shape your shot from right to left.  A drive of about 220 yards should leave you with a short shot onto this slightly uphill green.

As with all holes at Semlin Valley out of bounds is on the left.  The green is guarded by two sand traps on the left and one at the back right.  There is also a pond behind the green so be aware of being long with your approach!  The green has a ridge about 1/3 of the way into it sloping downhill left to right.
