        The terrain and climate at Semlin Valley Golf Course has been likened to that found in Arizona or parts of southern California.  Indeed, the Thompson-Nicola Region where the course is located has often been referred to as "Arizona with water"! 
        The weather is (usually) dry, warm and sunny during the playing season, often with a slight breeze to keep the hot summer days a little cooler and the playing conditions a little more challenging.
