Hole 2 is a sweeping right-to-left par 5, uphill the entire distance with out-of-bounds left all the way to the green. The safe tee-shot is to aim at the right side fairway bunker and shape your shot right to left. The longer hitters can cut off the corner by aiming at the saddle in the far hills. The second shot is uphill and usually into a wind. A large, deep sand trap in the shade of a large willow guards the right side of the green at about 60 yards from the front. The green itself is fairly flat, and offers a good birdie opportunity to those who can reach it in regulation.
